The Pineapple Inn...
Having just returned from a wonderful week in Puerto Rico, I
thought I should give kudos where kudos are due. We
stayed at a FANTASTIC place called The Pineapple Inn in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The motto of The Pineapple Inn says it all… “Relax, Enjoy Life”…
How did I find out about this place? Well, I Googled small inns in Rincon and this
one popped up. I then checked out the
reviews on Trip Advisor and voila…
The Pineapple Inn is an intimate inn, located in a quiet
residential area of Rincon - just a few short steps away from a gorgeous beach,
which is great for swimming, walking or simply watching the sunset.
Our room was very clean and very comfortable and it had
everything we needed – coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and of course –
television and high speed internet. The
garden and pool areas are very welcoming if you choose to just sit back, relax
and listen to the surf close by.
Our hosts/innkeepers were Nelson Santos and Mark Kelly,
although Mark was away during our visit, Nelson was fantastic and went out of
his way to make sure we were having a good time. We are self-sufficient travelers, but it was
nice to know that if we needed anything, we could just ask and Nelson would
have the answer.
I should mention that a “goodie” basket was left for us
every day and included fresh fruit, pastries, cookies, muffins or cake. It was awesome to come back to the room after
a long, hard day at the beach, only to find these sweet treats waiting for us. Who couldn’t use some sugary sweets before dinner?
If you ever find yourself in Rincon, be sure to keep The
Pineapple Inn at the forefront of your mind…you won’t be disappointed and if
you are – there is something wrong with you! *smiles*
NOTE: I’m not
receiving any form of compensation for this little plug, but should Nelson feel
it in his heart to send me a “care” package containing some of that lemon cake,
I’d gladly accept it. *wink*
