Random Tuesday Thoughts...$#*! You Won't Care About, but I'm Going to Tell You Anyway...

Guess What?  It's that time again - a time to randomize your thoughts and confirm to the world how crazy you actually are.  Now, you can thank The Un Mom for hosting this loonie extravanganza... I burnt the roof of my mouth and tongue yesterday and it is still numb and fuzzy today.   That’s what I get for letting myself become famished and then scarfing down my lunch fresh out of the microwave. I’ve had a kink in my neck and shoulder for the last month that I cannot get rid of.   I’ve been going to the chiropractor once a week since it started and have spent a small fortune in Icy Hot Neck Patches and Robaxacet but it’s just not going away.   Grrr… Only 4 more days (including today) that I will be working at my current job and 3 out of the 4 days, I’m being treated to lunch by co-workers and my boss.    Now, I just need to find someone to take me to lunch today… J and I leave for Samana, Dominican Republic on Monday....

Happy Post-Labor Day (or Labour Day if you’re Canadian)…

Tuesdays after a long weekend just seem like Mondays to me.  Usually they feel worse than actual Mondays because I’ve managed to over-indulged on the goodness that is a long weekend.  The scale was not my friend this morning.  I don’t know why I even bother to punish myself and weigh in after a long weekend.  See the first point – too much goodness. I started Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred last week.  Day 1 kicked me in the ass – so much so, that I couldn’t move for the next 3 days and by the time, I recovered it was the weekend.  So since last week was a big FAIL, I’m starting over tonight and hope I can make it to Day 3 before I have to take a break.  It’s all about “goal setting”. The Boy starts his classes today, so it should be interesting to hear from him tonight.  All through his school years to date when asked what he learned, I received the response “nothing”, so I’m assuming of course, that tonight’s conversation won’t b...
