Why?

Why can’t every day feel like a holiday?
Why can’t every day have a $2 happy hour?
Why can’t every day - be a day spent at the beach?
I’m back at work.  Am I happy about it?  No.
On my commute into work this morning, I had an overwhelming urge to turn my car around and simply drive back home and go back to bed.
I was prepared to tempt fate.  I doubt I would be fired for one day of truancy, but secretly hoped that I would be.
Of course, I would be devastated to be unemployed, but it might just be the kick in the pants I need to motivate me to do something else with my life.   Don’t get me wrong, I don’t WANT it to happen but I’m just saying…if it did…it might not be such a bad thing.

to do that, one would have a backup plan. That's what happens when we grow up. $$ impulsiveness is for the young ones.

Poo, sorry the vacation is over!

There is always an upside to everything!
I'm with ya, girlie. When I got back from vacation today and started opening emails, I just wanted to go into a fitful rage and get dragged out of here by security. Instead, I just sighed and opened up Google Reader.

Bright side = it's a four day week!

I decided many years ago that there should be a law making it illegal to go to work the day after a vacation... ;o)

I'm behind on your posts, sorry! My internet has been crap for the last few days so tonight I am catching up on everything! I totally know how you feel - at least with my old job. I thought about calling in to work everyday! Glad you are back but wish you could be on vacation forever (I wish I could be too)!
