When I read things like this first thing in the morning, I wonder why I bothered to get out of bed...

Wow--that's pretty specific. Most of the ones I read are much more vague. Do you have any sick days? Or personal days? It might just pay to have stayed in bed.

Someone in the next cube just lost a whole days work because they pressed the wrong button. They then pick up the computer and fling it across the office, causing it to crash into a colleague and injuring them sufficiently that they have to go home, leaving the office short staffed.

Because they didn't unplug the computer first, it causes the electrics to short out plunging the office into darkness.

OK, someone else can finish the story of how the day would have complied with this prediction.

Best thing to do, stay on bed!

I had my annual “physical” yesterday.   I’ve been attending the same clinic for well over 20 years and am overall happy with the service I receive.  The clinic is part of a state-of-the-art teaching hospital, so with that I typically have relatively quick access to a network of specialists should the need arise.  With that being said, I’m usually treated by residents and have rarely had the same resident in all my 20 years. I felt pretty good going into the appointment and then not so much by the time I left.   Why do you ask?
