Random Tuesday Thoughts...A Giveaway, Random Drug Testing, Retired People
I had to attend the “lab” again this morning to provide yet another
urine sample. Either the Dr.’s office
keeps ordering the wrong tests or my urine is in high demand on the black
market. Either way…eewww.
As I’ve mentioned before - the lab opens at 8:00, but by
7:45 there is a huge crowd gathering around the door waiting for them to open
up. When the doors open, you are to take
a number. The way it is supposed to work
is the person that arrived first, gets the first number; second person gets the
second number, and so on and so on.
However, the senior citizens have an obvious sense of entitlement and
tend to jump the line – there is even pushing by them. I respect
my elders, but this really bugs me because the only place they NEED to be in
the morning after the lab is the local coffee shop or hair salon. Urghhh…
My cube dwelling neighbor is on speaker phone again. I feel an overwhelming urge to walk over and
yank her phone line from the wall. Why
can’t she understand that there are people around her?
I’ve noticed that members of our finance team travel in
packs of two or more. You will never
find one of them travelling by themselves.
They are kind of like teenage girls that way. I can only assume they are sharing a common
brain…
I found this item on Etsy a couple of weeks ago. Am I the only person that finds it more than
slightly disturbing?
FINAL REMINDER – Today is your last day to enter my giveaway
if you haven’t already done so. The
winner will be announced tomorrow - Wednesday, June 2nd.
Special thanks to The Un Mom for hosting my randomness every week. If you are looking for more, stop by and visit her - now...

That coat rack is just wrong! It just screams, "I dismember babies for a living!"
I managed to give a stool sample only to have them say that it came out inconclusive— what does that mean anyway???
Happy RTT,
Need to change your cube neighbors phone out to one without a speaker.
I wonder why the seniors are so aggressive and is it something that happens to us as we age? Hope not. It's not like you can trip them as they push by, can you.
I am not a fan of that coat rack.
And I say, no matter how old you are, you need to wait your turn in line! :)
