I’ve Obviously Pissed-Off Mother Nature (Again)

I’m generally a good person.  I’m kind to my friends, family and most of my co-workers.  I don’t kick puppies or kittens and I give to charity.  So what the hell have I done to deserve Tropical Storm/Depression Tomas?D

Did Mother Nature not get my memo that I would be heading to the Caribbean in 5 days?  WTH?  Haiti certainly doesn't need another natural disaster either.

I’ve said it before (and will likely say it again) – Mother Nature is a cruel and hurtful bitch…

At least it'll be warm. I'll be in Toronto where I can only presume I'll be riding Polar Bears and charming beavers.

@ Jenn - Only chance of show on Friday and then it looks good. Too bad I'm going to be away, Toronto is only an hour and a half away and I know a few good places to have some cocktails :)

I Was Feeling Pretty Good Until...

I had my annual “physical” yesterday.   I’ve been attending the same clinic for well over 20 years and am overall happy with the service I receive.  The clinic is part of a state-of-the-art teaching hospital, so with that I typically have relatively quick access to a network of specialists should the need arise.  With that being said, I’m usually treated by residents and have rarely had the same resident in all my 20 years. I felt pretty good going into the appointment and then not so much by the time I left.   Why do you ask?
