Pain in the...

I'm making my first attempt at scheduling a post, so if you are actually reading this, it means that I've succeeded. Yeah for me! It also means, that I'm not an idiot after all. O.K., well maybe I am, just not today.

Today, instead of blogging working, I will be enjoying a trip to the “ass doctor”. Note the sarcasm in my voice. There will in fact be no enjoyment to this trip.

Rest assured; it’s not me that’s going to be in the hot seat (no pun intended). Even I wouldn’t feel the need to share that with you - at least not until I’ve had a few drinks and have gotten to know you better.

No, I’m chauffeuring H and believe me after this little visit, “pain in the ass” will hold a whole new meaning - to both of us.

Is someone going for a colonoscopy? I haven't had one yet, but I'll have to once I'm 30 because polyps run in both sides of my family. Now that you know my digestive history, I hope that you have a fun time chauffeuring. My parents have both called me after theirs while still under the influence of the medication and the stuff that they say is HILARIOUS. I hope you'll have some good stories!

Oh no. fun times ahead!! I will only look forward to the medication part of this exciting activity. Do they start at 40? If so, eeeks...I'm awfully close!!

I’m not even going to get into how terrible of a blogger I am. In fact, I’m really not a blogger at all. Heard It Through A Cube Wall...Version 3.0

The saga of my neighbors in the HR Department continues.  As hard as they are to believe, these are true stories – based on true accounts.  I try not to engage these individuals in conversation because, honestly - I just don’t have the energy.  BUT since I happen to sit in close vicinity to them, I can’t hide from their stupid questions or avoid getting sucked into their conversations. HR Assistant:     (yelling over the wall at me) - How do you spell “dub-a-u”? Me:   Huh? HR Assistant:   I said, how do you spell “dub-ah-u”? I Was Feeling Pretty Good Until...

I had my annual “physical” yesterday.   I’ve been attending the same clinic for well over 20 years and am overall happy with the service I receive.  The clinic is part of a state-of-the-art teaching hospital, so with that I typically have relatively quick access to a network of specialists should the need arise.  With that being said, I’m usually treated by residents and have rarely had the same resident in all my 20 years. I felt pretty good going into the appointment and then not so much by the time I left.   Why do you ask? Well, first of all I was treated by Miss Doogie Howser.   I swear she wasn’t even legal drinking age.  That in itself made me feel old, because when I first started going to that clinic – I WAS her age.
